Description: A dozen Oregon Pacific Yew pen blanks. They're all from 5.5 - 6 inches long and 7/8 7/8" square. Seasoned for 1 year indoors. Good quality old growth Yew wood. Most of these have very tight grain and nice colors. Yew wood is great for pen turning because of its silky smooth texture and dense hard grain. Once dried its very stable. It finishes really nicely All of my Yew wood products are sustainably salvaged from burn areas and storm killed trees.
