Description: This lovely antique Staffordshire bowl is stained and crazed to perfection. It is marked on the bottom with EB within the English coat of arms. Though not certain, I believe this bowl was made by Edge, Barker & Co. in the late 1830s. The handpainted floral pattern is nicely done in bright green, red, and blue with a thin red stripe around the top edge. The once cream-colored background is now uniformly crazed and deeply stained to a taupe color. The bowl measures approximately 6.75" wide, 3.75" tall, with a 4" base. The weight is 1 lb 2 oz. There is a tight 2" crack, along with 2 chips on the rim. Zoom in on photos for better detail and measurements. Packaged with care and shipped promptly for free with USPS Ground Advantage Mail.
