Breed: Belgian Mastiff Dog, depicted by unknown artist in an exterior scene. This series, entitled "Chiens De Garde," (Herding dogs / Flock guardians) was distributed in Nestle, Cailler and Kohler Chocolates in 1931 Europe, specifically France and Belgium. Some were perforated like stamps, and some are straight edged. Bright and vibrant color on these cards - though printed on paper, and fragile compared to other series!! These card / labels are extremely hard to find in the USA, and are even considered a good find in Europe. Dimensions: 2.25" wide by 1 9/16" tall. NOTE: One only at this time!!
