Description: For sale is a used vintage 1940s McGregor Sportswear “Hollywood” or “Loafer” jacket, in size 40. Please review the measurements below. This jacket is two-tone with dark brown wool and either tan leather, nubuck, or suede (sorry, I can’t say for sure on the material). It’s a really unique piece. I hate to part with this jacket, but I’m thinning out a lot of my wardrobe. There are signs of wear, including some soiling, fraying and/or holes. The leather-type material has some scratches and dings but is still pliable and definitely wearable. Someone repaired/reinforced the underside of the collar (see photo), and I believe the bottom of the liner on the back was also restitched (see photo). There’s also some old stitch marks on the bottom right on the back, possibly from an old studio/production tag (see photo); I haven’t tried to steam it out. I think the jacket used to have sleeve buttons.
