Description: Legendary Soviet portrait lens Jupiter-9 85mm f2 with a Kiev/Contax rangefinder mount, based on the famous Carl Zeiss Sonnar.The very early rare white version, made in 1955 year on KMZ factory. The lenses from this factory are considered to have the best optical quality.Very hart to find such an early lens in this condition. The lens is in mint working condition with light signs of use (see photos for details). The optics are clear, without haze, fungus etc. A few usual for old lenses dust particles inside and a couple of tiny air bubbles allowed by those times standards. The focusing is working well. The lens barrel is very clean. The aperture blades are free of oil. Comes with a cap UV filter. Not tested with a camera.The lens fits modern cameras using a special adapter. 49mm filter. 15 aperture blades.
