Description: This 1956 card of Hank Bauer, like Hank has seen better days. Big stain on the bottom of the card that looks like a wave that goes horizonatlly from one end to the other. Two marks where tape used to be on the card. The number 1 is written in pencil on the left border, the upper edge is rough with wear and there are two creases that cut across Bauer's face. The back also shows the stain that dominates the front of the card and there is some sort of smudge by his name. The card says his nickname is "Hammerin' Hank". I thought Aaron had that exclusively. Who knew?
