1960 KMZ Jupiter-9 85/2 85mm f/2 Kiev, Contax rangefinder lens. EXCELLENT

Description: Legendary Soviet portrait lens Jupiter-9 85mm f2 with a Kiev/Contax rangefinder mount, based on the famous Carl Zeiss Sonnar.The early rare white version, made in 1960 year on KMZ factory. The lenses from this factory are considered to have the best optical quality. The lens is in excellent working condition with moderate signs of use (see photos for details). The optics are clear, without haze, fungus etc. A few usual for old lenses dust particles inside and a couple of tiny air bubbles allowed by those times standards. There are a couple of tine cleaning marks on the front glass. The focusing is working well. The lens barrel is clean, woth moderate signs of time. The aperture blades are free of oil. Comes in a genuine case with both caps. Not tested with a camera.The lens fits modern cameras using a special adapter. 49mm filter. 15 aperture blades.
