Description: Exquisite example of a pastel portraiture painting. From an estate, this original commissioned portrait depicts two young blonde-haired brown-eyed girls seated together, the older sister with her arm around a younger sibling. They’re donning matched pale blue dresses with smocked bodices and white lace-trimmed collars. Background and foreground colors in dusky gray hues. We're unable to confirm the artist signature. It appears as “Elsa ___?___.” Exact vintage unknown, but we estimate late 1960s. We did not dismantle the portrait from the frame, so are unable to determine if it was created on paper or board.
