Description: This auction is for an original poster, 26" x40 3/4" from the Soviet Union in 1980 when they boycotted the World Olympics and had an Olympic competition of their own. The poster is in very good, never used condition. It has a light bend in it from storage and I've included closeups. I had a colleague at the time who was in the Soviet Union as a doctor attending a medical conference and he brought me back a set of these posters knowing I was a poster collector. The colors are very vibrant and the artwork for the track competition is very nice. I've included closeups of the bottom of the poster with text in Russian to show copyright information.
