Description: 19th Century British The Mongol Huntsman Brown Transferware 6 3/4 Inch Plate Nice antique early to mid 19th century British pearlware earthenware plate. Decorated in the pattern known as The Mongol Huntsman in brown transfer. Unmarked. This pattern is known to have been produced by several factories from about 1800 to the mid 19th century in bone china; however, this example is an earthenware with slight blue pearlware tint to the glaze around the foot rim. Has some minor crazing and a small flake to the front edge, but otherwise good condition. Measures approximately 6 3/4 inches wide. This is an antique and may have small in manufacture defects that do not effect the display of the piece. CV
