A SWITCH (POWER ON/OFF) HAS BEEN INSTALLED AT SOME POINT ON THE SIDE OF THE CABINET. THE POWER SWITCH ON THE UNIT FACE IS STILL FUNCTIONING SO NOT SURE WHY ITS THERE... THE CABINET IS BLONDE OAK IM GUESSING. PHOTO #2 IS THE BEST DEPICTION OF THE TRUE COLOR. DOING SOME BASIC RESEARCH SHOW THERE WERE A COUPLE VARIATIONS OF THIS RADIO AND ITS FROM THE 50'S.
