Description: 1950s Nestor Johnson Manual Crank Metal Card Shuffler, Wooden Knob/Handle, Vintage Poker/Bridge, Mid-Century Gaming, Good Working Condition Delightful gaming accessory from the 1950s. Split the card deck in two, load both halves onto the unit, and turn the hand crank. The playing cards are quickly shuffled and together come down the exit chute. See a short video clip on how this piece operates at our Etsy site Midcenturygiftshop. Lovely 1950s green-metal body holds a plastic wheel on one side. Attached is a wooded knob which, when turned clockwise, engages the shuffling mechanism. On one end of the piece is engraved "JOHNSON TRADEMARK CARD SHUFFLER" and underneath this on the same end is "NESTOR JOHNSON MFG. CO. CHICAGO PAT. PEND. MADE IN USA." This shuffler is in very good vintage condition with only a few scratches and stains and an occasional spot of surface rust. For whatever reason, someone had previously put electrical tape on the rollers. Tape is also noted on the bottom of the piece, probably to protect any surface the shuffler may come into contact with. Measures approximately 8 1/2" long x 5 3/4" wide x 6 1/4" tall. Solidly built with a weight of 2 lbs, 1 oz. An unusual gaming accessory from the past that can still be used today. Go to our Etsy store Midcenturygiftshop to see a video of the shuffler in action. Perfect for Baby-Boomers like us with arthritic hands that want to play poker but don't like shuffling the deck! Packed using gently recycled materials and sent via standard shipping to USA addresses. Please contact us if you have any questions or if you would like additional photos. Thank you for looking, and have a wonderful day!
