Description: These Ampersand Ave products are all marked "XS” (extra small) from the company however the length of each pattern/design varies. As with all garments, new or used, there may be un-snipped or loose threads etc as well as pilling in areas on the used garments. All used items have been laundered and may have marks on the hem from clothes pins from being line-dried. Color descriptions may be different than what you might call them and colors vary depending on lighting and actual item will look slightly different in person than photos. Stock photos of items typically appear lighter than the actual color (at least that has been my personal experience). Please look at photos to compare colors side by side and always feel free to ask questions. The Doublehoods & Singlehoods are a 95% cotton/5% spandex blend but the full zip hoodie is a 35% polyester/65% cotton blend.Some of the drawstrings have a decorative colored string on the ends that tends to come undone over time. One workaround I have done on some of these used hoodies was to put fabric glue on the decorative string area. One important note, the zipper on the Doublehoods is decoration only and does NOT allow access or a wider opening. Also some of the patterns are screen printed which means the colors are not woven in with specific colored threads. (Note specifically the “under the mistletoe” singlehood where the red is showing through on the black check). The Singlehoods are fleece lined and cozy warm.A few item-specific notes are as follows:NWT Storm Singlehood was removed from packaging for photos and to try on for sizing purposes only. Item is fleece lined.NWT Happy Dance Doublehood - Unopened, stock photo color appears lighter than the actual color. Has thumbholes and a faux side zipper which does not create an opening NWT Maroon Floral Doublehood #1 - unopened, has a striped maroon body, cream floral sleeves, dark gray inner hood, thumbholes and a faux side zipper which unzips but does not create an opening. NWT Maroon Floral Doublehood #2 - only opened package #2 just enough for the photos you see. Has a striped maroon body, cream floral sleeves, dark gray inner hood, thumbholes and a faux side zipper which unzips but does not create an opening. Gently Used Blue Stripes w/ floral Doublehood is a well loved/used item, pilling etc, thumbholes & faux zipper Gently Used Black w/Light Dusty Pink Singlehood - is fleece lined and gently used with removed drawstring but including two drawstrings if you choose to re-insert one. The mauve is not as vibrant as shown in the stock photos. The first two photos are stock from the internet. All the other photos are of the actual item you will receive. This cozy warm single hood was gently used. One of the pockets was repaired as it came from the factory with a hole or incomplete stitching on it. Only selling because it did not fit comfortably in this size for me. Also of note, the mauve or light dusty pink is muted compared to the stock photos or at least was not as bright or vibrant as I was expecting. There is a funny 1/4 inch thread color difference around the collar area. There are marks on the hem area from line drying it after washing. These will come out as it is worn or after you wash it the next time. Also included are the original drawstring for the hood with tan/brownish ends as well as an extra one with gray thread on the ends. Before reinserting the string of your choice, you may want to put some fabric glue on the area where the decorative threads are to help prevent unraveling. Allow plenty of time to dry to prevent glue from getting on the garment. I have done this with several drawstrings on other garments. As with every item, new or used, there may be loose threads, fuzzies, etc. Gently Used “under the mistletoe” Singlehood is fleece lined and gently used with removed drawstring but including two drawstrings if you choose to re-insert one. (Fabric glue has been applied to the one with black ends). As noted (and exaggerated in photo), the red is showing through the black check in places. Item is EXTRA small. Gently Used Garden Goddess Full Zip hoodie is gently used, has fabric glue on end of drawstrings (as noted in photos), and is 35% polyester with some pilling etc and has thumbholes Gently Used Doublehood Black/Mauve (dusty, pale pink) w/thumbholes (item not in group photos) a lighter weight material made of 95%cotton/5%spandex (it is NOT fleece lined like the singlehood listed above in similar colors), the decorative thread on the drawstring has fabric glue on it to help prevent fraying, has a lovely rose gold faux zipper that does NOT provide a wider opening or access, has marks on hem from line drying, etc. The mauve, or dusty pale pink, color on the hood & thumbholes has picked up some of the black coloring and lint during washing. Of note, even when brand new, the pale pink was not a vibrant but very muted color. Gently Used Singlehood - Holiday Cheer (item not in group photos). It has two drawstring options included as the original one was removed. The pattern on this design is imprinted and not woven so when stretched, it will not appear as vibrant. Although we are a pet and smoke free home [ except for an occasional cooking mishap ;-) ] odors, smells and scents can be absorbed by material. Our home will probably smell differently than what you are used to. I have personally encountered this on many of our purchases (especially clothing) - the item has a "scent" that I am not used to but upon washing all is well.
