Description: For sale is a beautiful antique solid 0.800 Fine Silver Remontoir Open Face pocket watch. The watch has a 10 jewel mechanical movement. There is no serial number and I can find no reference material to give me a date for the watch.The movement is button set. The watch does not run or keep time. The main spring and balance staff appear to be fine.The watch is "wound tight" and needs to be serviced. The case is in decent shape. The covers close tightly. There are several small dents in the covers. There are several dents on the edges also.Its outside diameter measures 61.2mm. The case is solid .800 fine silver (it appears the bow has been replaced). The watch features a locomotive design on the rear cover. It has a white dial with black Roman numerals in blue details.The corresponding 24 hour Arabic numbers are around the outside edge in black. I see no cracks in the dial. Please note that we cannot accept returns on this item because of its delicate nature.
