Description: Antique Wedgwood Jasper Blue Dip Bas-relief Grecian Scenes Milk Cream Jug Very nice neoclassical stoneware creamer made by Wedgewood, England, featuring Jasper blue dip decorated with bas-relief Grecian scenes. Has WEDGWOOD and ENGLAND impressed on the bottom --which dates it before 1910-- and other indistinct impressed marks. It measures 2 tall x 3-1/2 in diameter and 4-1/4 across the handle and spout. Condition is good with no cracks, but there is a small chip on the spout (see photos for close-up). There may be: light scratches, marks or wear on the blue dip; stains or discoloration on the light stoneware body consistent with age and use; manufacturing flaws such as glaze inclusions or cracks to the applied bas-relief decorations. Please see all pictures as they are part of my description and message with any questions prior to purchase. Thank you for looking!
