Description: This is a beautiful antique c1790 miniature portrait of a handsome gentleman with a mustache and dimpled chin. The miniature is under glass, and is housed in a gold surround with a plaited hair back under glass. The gold frame on the back once had a pin but the hinge and pin are now gone, and the glass on the back has a crack. The miniature has some white flecks of debris inside and some loss of paint in the background. The piece measures 2 3/4" tall by 2 3/8" wide. It weighs 30.3 grams.
