Description: This Clarus MS-35 Rangefinder camera and various paraphernalia was found in an estate after the death of the owner, The group includes:• MS-35 rangefinder camera with Wallensak 50 mm f-2.8 lens. The camera shutter is inoperative and there is corrosion under the plating on the trim areas (see images). The camera back opens and closes easily, and all knobs turn. • The Wallensak lens seems to be fully functional as the focus adjustment moves the barrel in and out and the f-stop ring freely opens and closes the aperture iris. • The leather case and strap are in really nice condition with minimal wear and no tears and minimal fatigue cracking at the camera attach point. • The manual has some age stains and minor edge wear but is otherwise complete and even includes a handy Depth of Field guide page (last image). • Since there is nothing automatic about this camera, a "Scale Selector", of all things, was kept with the camera and obviously often used. • The original box is still in solid condition, though mildly showing its 75+ years. It measures 8" x 4-5/8" x 3-5/8".
