Focus action is buttery smooth. The clickless aperture is also smooth and blades are free of oil. The glass is clean and the coatings are beautiful. The interior of the lens is clean, no haze, fungus, etc. There are some tiny dust particles in the lens, but nothing that affects the performance of the lens. I've found this lens to be very versatile. It is almost as sharp as modern lenses of this focal length. Used wide open, it is known for its characteristic swirly background blur.
