To create an authentic Wide Range humbucker, we brought back the CuNiFe magnet, which had not been produced since 1981, as an essential element to recreate the original sound. The American Vintage II 1977 Telecaster Custom features a dense maple neck with a 1977 “C” shape and a 7.25”-radius maple or rosewood fingerboard with 21 vintage tall frets, making it feel like you’re back in 1977. It is reminiscent of the playability of musical instruments at the time.
