The painting features three young people in the foreground, in a pastoral scene with a cupid-like figure. It measures 3" x 2.75", and the outer dimensions of the frame are 5" x 4.5". The enameled painting is in excellent condition, free of chips, scratches, or losses. The frame is not perfectly rectangle, there is a light bulge to the center of some of the sides. This is rather trivial, and appears to have occurred through normal settling of the materials. Of greater concern is the natural aging of the material surrounding the frame, which is apparently light sensitive and has cracks and losses. It could easily be removed and replaced.
