Authenticity guaranteed, the buyer will receive the letter of authenticity. Soyuz 32 was a 1979 Soviet manned space flight to Salyut 6 space station. It was the eighth mission to and seventh successful docking missions. The Soyuz 32 crew was the third long-duration crew to man the space station. Cosmonaut Vladimir Lyakhov and Valery Ryumin spent 175 days in space, setting a new space endurance record. Because of the failure of a visiting crew to successfully dock and the resultant decision to send an uncrewed Soyuz craft as a replacement return vehicle, the Soyuz 32 crew had no visitors in the Salyut 6 space station. Vladimir Lyakhov (1941 – 2018) was a Ukrainian Soviet cosmonaut. He was selected as cosmonaut on 5 May 1967, and retired on 7 September 1994. Lyakhov was the Commander on Soyuz 32, Soyuz T-9 and Soyuz TM-6, and spent 333 days, 7 hours, 47 minutes in space. Valery Ryumin (1939-) is a former Soviet cosmonaut. A veteran of three space flights, Ryumin has logged a total of 362 days in space. In 1977, he spent 2 days aboard Soyuz-25, in 1979, he spent 175 days aboard Soyuz vehicles and the Salyut-6 space station, and in 1980, he spent 185 days aboard Soyuz vehicles and the Salyut-6 space station. From 1981 to 1989, Ryumin was flight director for the Salyut-7 space station and the Mir space station. Since 1992, he has been the Director of the Russian portion of the Shuttle-Mir and NASA-Mir program. In January 1998, NASA announced Ryumin's selection to the crew of STS-91. Ryumin served aboard STS-91 Discovery (2–12 June 1998) the 9th and final Shuttle-Mir docking mission, concluding the joint U.S./Russian Phase I Program. The STS-91 mission was accomplished in 154 Earth orbits, traveling 3.8 million miles in 235 hours and 54 seconds. Buy more and safe on the shipping cost. We will ship the second cover for free.
