Description: HEATHKIT HW-16 NOVICE TRANSCEIVER with HG-10B VFO Click images to enlarge Description First off I am selling this set AS-IS because the transceiver has issues, but the VFO seems to work fine. These were both purchased from the original builder's son. So they had been sitting for a long time unused. It is all original. The transceiver had good output on 80 and 40 meters, but output was about half on 15 meters. The receive volume seemed low. It may need alignment or some part replaced. Overall it looks good except for some wear on the left side of the cabinet. Please see pictures for actual cosmetic condition.
