Description: Note: H-483 is my inventory # only. Here is a good working older clean Helios (Germany) 0-6" depth micrometer. it is a complete set for 0-6", with .001" resolution. The base is 16mm wide x 95mm long. The graduations/hash marks on this micrometer are all clear and easily readable. It has the wrenches should you ever need to adjust it. Note: This was last calibrated in 2010 and has been sitting in a tooling cabinet since. Box is in good vintage condition with a nice varnish on it. There are no engravings on it, just the calibration sticker. The last photo with the red pointer shows that the rods do not sit down all the way in the grooves of the wood block all the way and the foam in the lid holds them in place when the lid is closed. (This is how these older German made Helios boxes were made). The knurled ring above the base is NOT a locknut. The box has wear and other tool scratches on the top as you can see in the one photo.
