Description: IWC Schaffhausen Ingenieur 666A Automatic Date 18K Yellow Gold 37mm Wristwatch. This handsome vintage International Watch Co. Schaffhausen Ingenieur wristwatch has a solid 18k yellow gold case measuring approximately 37mm in diameter x 45mm long lug to lug x 13mm thick with an 18mm lug width. The case is stamped "1683660" between the lugs. The case has a high polished finish with light wear for it's age. The silver dial has placed gold stick hour markers, gold hands, a gold sweep second hand, a date window at three o'clock and ia marked "International Watch Co. Schaffhausen Ingenieur - Swiss". The dial has very light aging that can be seen through a loupe (10x's magnification). The crystal has minimal surface wear. The inside case is stamped "18K 0.750 - International Watch Co. - Swiss - 666A". The automatic movement is stamped "International Watch Co. Swiss (twice) - C. 8531 - Pat. Appl. - 21 Jewels - 1690440". All screws and jewels appear to be in great condition. The movement has a metal dust cover, not pictured. Crown sets the time and date. The crown has a fish logo indication of water-resistance. This watch is running and keeping time. No guarantee of future performance. This watch has a black IWC strap with a gold plated IWC buckle. The adjustable strap will fit a wrist up to approximately eight and a half inches.
