Description: Up for sale here is this large vintage power transformer, probably from the 1930s or 1940s and Made in USA. This came from a vintage tube power supply. It is marked A95-533N on the top side. I tested this, and with a 120v input I tested the secondaries at 660vAC (yellowish brown pair, tapped at either 330 or 430v to other wires), 5.66v (brown pair), and 7.12v (green wires, CT to striped wire next to them). Transformers usually test a little high when they're not loaded, and the primary is probably rated at 115v, so I am guessing the specs on this are 580vCT, 6.3v CT, and 5v. This is a nice big transformer, so it should be good for plenty of current. This is used with moderate overall wear, mostly just a lot of scraping on the sides. It is guaranteed to work for you. This has some great specs and would be awesome for building a tube amp. Please see my pictures for details and dimensions. US shipping and handling is $15. If you have any questions, please ask. I have more transformers and other vintage electronics listed--feel free to take a look!
