Mens Silver Pocket Watch KEY WIND w Chain 10 Rubis Cylindre ANTIQUE

Description: I have up for sale a wonderful antique circa 1860s - 1880s Men's 10 Rubis Key Wind Pocket Watch with Key and Chain with a Clip . I would suppose that the clip could be used to attach to a belt or even to a lapel on a sport jacket. No maker indicated on the movement , obviously European but I am unsure if its French or Swiss . It's a very handsome watch , nice engraved back case . Both the front and back are hinged.The case is most likely 800 Silver but its unmarked or the mark is worn so it can no longer be seen. It measures approx 48.5 mm diameter , approx 14.5mm thick including the thick glass crystal. The porcelain dial face is very handsome with Roman Numerals and outer Arabic Numbers , sunken sub seconds , and ornate hands. The watch runs but it needs repair or atleast servicing as it sometimes stops for no apparent reason. It runs very inconsistent and needs attention. I am selling it As Is - for parts or repair. As I am doing the listing its currently running but I give no guarantee and as noted am selling it As Is - parts or repair.
