Description: The Minolta Maxxum 3000i is an entry level 35mm SLR camera. Exposure mode was program AE only, with a high-speed program option. No Creative Expansion Card support. An even more basic Maxxum, this camera was basically for the point-and-shoot user that wanted a system SLR camera with interchangeable lenses and more powerful flashes, but didn't want the features on, or didn't want to pay for the 5000i, 7000i, 8000i cameras. This is a Minolta Maxxum 3000i 35mm SLR camera body + Minolta AF f=50mm, 1:1.7 Standard prime Lens + Dedicated Minolta D314i flash, all introduced in 1989. I have tested this camera, lens and flash and are in excellent working condition. The plastic grip cover shows a crack because of age. Lens is in excellent working, cosmetics and optics conditions. Everything works as expected. Film loading works as expected. The dedicated hot shoe flash D314i is powered by the camera battery and fires as needed. You must have a roll of film in the film chamber and AF confirmation for the flash to fire to save battery power. Autofocus and self timer work also as expected. Mirror and mirror damper are in excellent condition. Very clean in and out, mirror and film compartments are clean and in great condition. Shutter blades in great shape. Viewfinder optics are clean and no dust. Battery compartment is clean with shiny contacts.
