Description: *MONOGRAM CROSS* “JUSTINIAN II EMPEROR” ancient BYZANTINE SILVER Roman RING! 6.65g. Shipped with USPS Priority Mail Padded Flat Rate Envelope. This is in absolutely great shape and of museum quality!! It is perfectly wearable if you so wanted but I’m not sure I’d risk losing or damaging? I have done a lot of research on these types of Roman symbol rings but have yet to find any info at all about this specific ring. I’ve translated everything on the ring as far as letters but I still find it difficult to put together the word/name as a whole completely. If you know the info about what ring this is exactly please share via eBay messaging. Only info I could find searching for a very long time off and on was an oil chain or fragrance chain piece used in ceremonies I believe. AS IT HAS THE EXACT SAME SYMBOL IN THE MUSEUM PIECE SHOWN IN THE PICS. However, the same symbol but the “C” is inverted, is shown on the known listed monograms that someone put together online. But still no info shown on that monogram even on that list??? But, the inverted monogram could be a mistake on the list. Number #39 is the one im referencing. Would like to know eventually I guess. Please ask any questions. THERE ARE NO CHIPS OR HOLES OR DAMAGES ANYWHERE ON THE RING! Just the very tiny light lines of wear scratches that appear on every ring after wearing awhile. Thank you for looking and reading my long description. If you know more about this feel free to share with me please.
