Description: Soege pf Acre Jug Pitcher This monumental piece depicts Admiral Sir Sidney Smith at the Siege of Acre. Unmarked but probably made by Samuel Alcock. Moulded in high relief in drab/brown salt glazed stoneware. Circa 1840. Please be aware that this piece is massive so check the measurements. Unique lid with highly unusual silverplate collar to base. Approx 13"H X 11"W.
