Description: Thought this saddle would be a family heirloom, but need to sell. This documented 1982 custom hand made 14.5” western saddle was built by Paul Garcia at Leddy, out of Fort Worth, TX for $1700 at the time. See a photo taken of the build sheet / order request in their ledger book at the (now) ML Leddys facility. This beautiful saddle is half stamped trophy oak, with a rawhide braided horn with a Bowman tree for a foundation. All info of the saddle is on the build sheet. Some of the original items included are the matching breast collar (harness), fenders, silver lacing (in cantle and skirt) and stirrups. The saddle sheep skin underneath is original and could be replaced. Some leather appears to be dry and may need to be rehydrated. This saddle was ordered 7/30/1982, and finished by 12/7/1982.
