Description: Offered here is the Rags magazine archive. Every vintage item in this lot came from Rags publisher Baron Wolman's personal archive. You get all 13 original issues of Rags from 1970/71 + the pre-release prototype issue with the original prospectus letter. You also get a facsimile of the very first prototype issue when it had a different logo and a bonus issue of rarities from the Rags archive. Both of these were limited to less than 100 copies each and were included in the Rags 50th Anniversary Archive in 2020. You also get a trove of vintage Rags material including the Rags 1970 foldout Christmas card, Rags office letterhead, an advertising rate card and assorted press tear sheets. All of this material is 1970/71 vintage from the Rags office and spent nearly 5 decades in Wolman's personal archive. Wolman gifted this set to The Waverly Press publisher Dagon James and these original Rags issues were used as the basis for the 50th Anniversary Archive. As a bonus, Wolman hand signed all of the original Rags issues as shown in the pictures. This is a one of a kind institutional worthy collection and you won't find another anywhere.
