Description: A little history about company ZOMZ (ЗОМЗ) The company Zagorsk optical-mechanical plant (ZOMZ) started up in 1935 in Zagorsk (Russia). This plant is famous for its high quality optical instruments, mostly military devices. ZOMZ is the parent enterprise for the development and serial production of binoculars and monoculars. The most popular binoculars are high magnification - 10x, 12x, 20x. BGSh (БГШ) theater binoculars still have no equal in the world. A short description In excellent condition BPT 3,5x15 by ZOMZ (1984, Soviet Russia) is a compact wide angle theater binoculars based on ROOF prism with central focus. Focus smooth and easy to use. No double image. Optics without separation, haze, fungus, scratches. Optical surfaces have a no lose violet phase-correcting coating for crystal clear images. Exterior condition is excellent collectible. It is the smallest prismatic binocular in the USSR. The binoculars are made in an original and unique “butterfly” design. This model is currently not in production. Upon observation, it seems that the magnification of the device is greater than the 3.5 times stated by the manufacturer. The picture is natural, stable across the field of view, wide-angle and as comfortable as possible, the eyes are not tired at all Equipped with a mechanism for changing the interpupillary distance over a wide range, as well as diopter adjustment of the right eyepiece for people with different eye diopter values.
