Description: Item details Quantity: 1 piecesWeight: 17 gram Description Reloadable cassette for 35 mm film, for Leica, Fed, Zorki 4, 5, 6 cameras. Curtain cassette for FED and Zorkiy cameras (Leica system). Made in USSR. ---------------------------------- Type-135 cassette is a trade name used since 1934 for disposable cylindrical cassettes loaded with 35 mm double-sided perforated roll film. The standard capacity of such a cassette is 36 frames of small format 24×36 mm. In addition to the full length, a shortened film for 24 and 12 small format frames can be loaded. The design of two-cylinder curtain cassettes was created in the process of fierce competition between the first two small-format photo systems Leica and Contax. Patent restrictions forced their manufacturers Ernst Leitz and Zeiss Ikon to develop different cassette designs to hold the same stock of film. Despite the external similarity, the cassettes of these cameras are not compatible with each other and are not suitable for use with other types of equipment. In the USSR, the FKTs and FKL curtain cassettes of the Leica type were produced for the FED and Zorkiy cameras, and the Contax standard was used in the Kiev, Leningrad and Start cameras. ---------------------------------- The buyer will receive exactly the same item as in the photo.
