This old chestnut is missing Big Bird's book, the lamp post, and the little bird that goes in the top belfry. The clock works and keeps good time, but if it runs a little fast or slow it can't easily be adjusted because the fine-tuning selector is missing from the back. Also missing is the original knob used to set the clock and alarm, but the screw hoop that's been put in its place seems to do the job.It takes a C battery, which is not included, but the clock is wind-up. We believe the battery is meant to power the 'talking' functionality, which we don't think works. Apart from missing pieces and failure to 'talk', this beautiful piece is in very good condition. We cleaned it up a bit but it could still use a little fine detailing. Please examine photos.
