Description: ITEM: Leather Treadle Belt – 1 each new, round 3/16” (5 mm) diameter for many Singer Treadle Sewing Machines. These Superior-Quality Belts are principally used in connection with the wonderful, old Singer Cabinets and Manual Rocking-Foot Pedals. Each belt comes with the metal hook/connector attached to one end. SIZE: 72 inches (183 cm) long & 3/16" (5 mm) diameter ADDITIONALDESCRIPTION: Please note that virtually all Treadle Sewing Machines use a belt that is approximately 66” (167.5 cm) long & 3/16” (5 mm) in diameter. Simply measure your old belt (if available) against this new belt (or measure the length required with a piece of string), cut the excess length off, puncture (using an awl or nail) the newly-cut end with a hole approximately 1/4” (6 mm) from the end, insert the end of the metal hook/connector, test for fit, and finally, bend the hook/connector ends to “clamp” them down against the belt.
