A common feature of all "Industars" was the basic optical scheme of the Tessar type, consisting of three components, the last of which, unlike a triplet, is two glued lenses. Most lenses of this type belong to the normal group and were used as standard lenses in most Soviet cameras, as well as in photographic enlargers, movie cameras, aerial cameras and other equipment. I-26m-U 2.8/52 (INDUSTAR-26M-U F/2.8 52 mm) is a lens for Soviet enlargers. The lens does not have a focusing ring, which makes its use as a photographic lens difficult. The I-26m-U 2.8/52 can easily be turned into a macro lens, which is what makes it interesting.
