Description: For sale is a neovintage Tag Heuer 2000, reference 165.306. The movement is a Lemania LWO 283, which features a base ETA 2892-2 modified to house a Dubois-Depraz chronograph module. Case is a satin finished stainless steel with gold markers on the bezel and gold chronograph pushers. Dial is a pearl white with gold outlined tritium markers and gold hands. A beautiful design that's a landmark in both Tag Heuer and Breitling in the 80s and 90s. It comes with a generic leather strap sized at 110/75 in fair condition. It should fit a wrist circumference of up to 18.5-19cm. The second has dark yellowing on the center from age. Lume markers on the dial are intact. Hands show some slight corrosion and the lume on the minute hand has cracked. Sapphire crystal is free of scratches. The case has scratches, marks and little dings from normal use. The lower left lug has a bit of a larger slight dent. Fair condition I would say for its age, and in hand it wears pretty nice. Finish is original and case profile is sharp, so I don't think it's ever been polished. Caseback has a little dent right over the reference, most visible at the 12th photo. Movement looks very clean and keeps decent time. Crown screws down correctly, date can be set via the crown or automatically every 24 hours, and chronograph starts and stops correctly. Timegrapher results show that it's losing 11 to 18 seconds per day, and a good amplitude between 215-230, which is very good for a watch from the 1990s with no service history.
