The books themselves are in varying conditions, as pictured, with Volume 1 being the worse for wear. Volume 1 is a former library copy but does not have the library sticker on the spine. The spine and back cover have very clear creasing. The pages are also more yellowed on the outside for being read and travelled more often. Volume 6 has creasing on the front cover. The set line is not as deep for it, but it is still present. The other books in the set have minor shelf wear, as expected for books of their age and readable nature.
