Toraji Ishikawa LA DANSE Japanese Woodblock Prints Ukiyo-e Signed & Framed c1934

Description: For your consideration is this beautiful Japanese woodblock print by Toraji Ishikawa, titled "La Danse." This piece comes from the series "Ten Types of Female Nudes," and it is signed and professional framed with UV-blocking glass. Circa 1934. Original information about the print from the gallery that most recently sold it can be found on the back (see photos). This piece was an estate find from the estate of a notable Seattle family. Sheet Size: approx.19" tall x 14.75" wideMat Inside Dimensions: approx. 20" tall x 15.5" wideFrame Size: approx. 26.5" tall x 22" wide The print was assessed to be in "Excellent" condition at the time of framing/sale. There are a few wrinkles around the edges, but overall appears to be in beautiful condition. Please see photos. The piece is protected by UV Filtering Plexiglass. There is a scratch on the plexiglass (as shown in photos), on the right arm - roughly 1" in length, that picks up again in where her back meets the gray background and extends roughly 3.5" (but much fainter). This scratch is on the exterior of the plexiglass, not damage to the print. The frame is in very nice condition and complements the print beautifully. A few small scrapes (as shown), including a scratch on the right side about 9" above the bottom, but overall it is in lovely shape. There is some very light wear on the corners.
