Lyerla was assigned to the 11th Air Assault Division when he received orders to go to Vietnam with the newly created 1st Cavalry Division. He was a Signal Corps Officer assigned to the Division Staff, G6. I have several patches from both units that I purchased from his estate. I have included a photo of his business card. He died in 2009 and his Obituary is available on-line. He had an interesting career. I combine shipping on multiple purchases.
