We are seeking fully informed buyers who are serious and fully convinced that they will like their purchase from us :)I am sure that this is a pocket watch that you will not find another one like it for sale anywhere on the Internet.Pictured here is a very rare Movado Zenith 18K gold pocket watch powered by an ultra thin 17 jewels Frederique Piguet wrist watch movement signed Zenith. This is the classic Movado Museum dial design which was so successful for Movado. The minimalist dial was inspired by Bauhaus designs. The solid gold dial has a machine circular texture made by turning the disc on a lathe. Then the Sun image positioned at noon position was thereafter milled leaving a high polish surface. Black coated hands make a nice contrast. The watch measures 38 mm across and is in the style of an Audemars Piguet designed by Gerald Genta, later called "Disco Volante" by Italian collectors.This because it looked like a flying saucer (disco volante in Italian). I found a couple of wrist watches with a similar but smaller case and an identical dial for sale on the Internet a while back. One in 18K yellow gold and one in 18K white gold. Both priced at over 4000 Euro at that time. This watch comes with the 18K gold chain as pictured. The clasp of the chain is made of 18K rose gold and has Arabic hallmarks. I assume the watch was sold initially somewhere in the Middle East. The movement was serviced in May 2018. It is a high grade and very thin Frederic Piguet movement.
