Description: This listing is for one vintage circa 1976 Ball® logo blue glass canning jar lid that is in excellent condition. The lid was produced to fit a regular-mouth Ball Ideal Bicentennial half-pint, pint, quart, or half-gallon canning jar. The inside diameter of this lid is approximately 2 3/4." The outside diameter of this lid is approximately 3 1/8." The lid is embossed with BALL®. The color is close to the color of the Ball jar shown in photo #7. The jar is shown for information only and is not included with this listing. As expected with vintage canning jar lids, there may be manufacturing flaws. The stray lines in the glass are production flaws and are not cracks. The lid was used for display purposes only. It was never used for canning. The lid shown in the above photos is an example of the lid you will receive. Please look at the photos carefully. They are an important part of the description.
