Description: Ampeg V4 Amplifier Vintage Early 1970s Made in Linden N.J., USA Good Working Condition !!!Up for sale is a vintage Ampeg V4 made in Linden NJ in the early 1970s. Yes, one of the real early ones!!!!! It's in great working condition. About one year ago I had it serviced. New hum (bias) control, several new tubes, pots cleaned & new AC cord. It has that nasty V4 sound that makes Marshalls run & hide. Extremely fat but clean. The sound of the 1970s Rolling Stones. I'm not the original owner but have had it since about 1977 and played hundreds of gigs with it. I'm getting older & am moving so I very sadly have to let it go. Serial #103312. It's in very clean condition considering it's age. The reverb unit was replaced & is not original (when I got it in 1977) but sounds great. Very heavy 55 pounds 6 ounces.
