Description: Up for sale is the vintage Marantz Model 7 tube preamplifier. This example is part of a reissue from by Marantz for the Japanese market from 1995-1998, hence the 100V requirement. A step-down converter is included and will be purchased from Amazon and shipped directly to your address. It was built by VAC for Marantz. The face plate, as well as all the knobs and switches, is clean (pics #1-4). The metal cover is clean on all four sides as well (pics #9-12). The wood case is clean as well except for a scratch on the top side (pic #17, 20) and a dent on the right side top edge (pic #16, 17, and 19). Please refer to the pictures for all the cosmetic details. Functionally, it is in excellent working condition. The six 12AX7 tubes are labeled as Marantz. All the rotary controls were cleaned with DeOxit Fader and the switches with DeOxit Gold and now work without any noises. All inputs were tested and working, including the two phono inputs. It will be packed in fitted foam and shipped via FedEx Ground.
