Description: We have for sale a vintage marked "Elgin American Made in USA" powder makeup compact with mirror engraved with the letter E. It is in used condition with wear to the finish from use as shown, but quite charming nonetheless. It measures approximately 3 1/2" x 3” at its widest points. The original puff is included. All hinges are functioning and the compact opens and snaps closed nicely. This is from my mother Dorothy's (a Rosie the Riveter in WWII) collection. She was a fun, strong, and vibrant lady who had an eye for unique and beautiful items. Our hope is that these items find their way to people who will appreciate them as much as she did.
