Description: This is a vintage WAPAK no 8 cast iron skillet that dates from 1903 to 1910. The cooking surface has some utensil scores and very fine patches of etching from corrosion. These are nearly undetectable as you glide your fingers over a glass smooth surface. The pan does have a downward bow in the center and can easily be seen in the photos. Not recommended for use on a ceramic stovetop. Not an issue for use on a gas range. No chips, cracks or repairs. This item is from an old collection and was cleaned and seasoned, then stored for many years. Because item was stored for many years, there may be spots of light surface rust. This can generally be washed away then re-seasoned before use. This item is photographed in very bright light to highlight fine details. Under these lighting conditions, item may take on a brown color. Item is much darker under normal light. Photos are part of the items description. Please use them for a more clear understanding of the items overall condition.
