Description: Very nice Zenith Royal 1000 with original dust cover. I am not a shortwave expert, I buy and sell estate sale items as a hobby. I did put batteries in this unit and everything came on , made static as I scrubbed though channels but I have no idea how to operate a shortwave radio so I can not tell you any thing other then that. The antenna is in perfect condition and extends to the full length easily
