Description: This stunning necklace is made of 100 very sparkly crystal rhinestones on a sterling silver framework, with a spring ring closure. The rhinestones include square,round, teardrop shape, and baguettes, all clear and in a variety of sizes. The stones are all faceted and securely prong-held. The necklace measures 38 cm. (15 in.) long, and the geometric art deco pendant drops 4 cm.(1 ½ in.). It is in excellent vintage condition and shows few signs of wear despite being well over 70 years old. The necklace is signed ‘Jay Flex’ and ‘Sterling’ at the back of the pendant. There are some minor scuffs on the silver backing, probably just from handling. Two rhinestones have minimal age-related coloring – they are in clear view on the left hand side of each of the last 4 photos. Fortunately those two stones sit toward the back of the wearer’s neck and have so far never been noticed unless deliberately looking for them, but the price has been adjusted accordingly. I have tried to clearly and accurately describe the condition and show all blemishes in the photos, which are part of the description.
