Description: Rare mid century signed Miriam Haskell demi parure featuring the famous Haskell simulated pearls and large, hand-poured Gripoix art glass nugget beads in a rose quartz pink hue on this magnificent statement set. The pink beads are really show stoppers. Hand made, so no two are exactly alike. These beads would have been made in Europe and imported specifically for Haskell jewelry. They are featured in a different necklace design in the Cathy Gordon book (page 184). The pearls and art glass are in excellent vintage condition. No loss of finish on the pearls. The signed hang tag is present on the necklace and the earrings are signed on the clip and base. The matching earrings are difficult to find on the market. The clasp is patented (number shown in close up photo). There is oxidation on the hardware and the small copper spacer beads. I have not attempted to clean or polish the pieces. I would recommend professional cleaning only due to the age of the pieces. There are a few small pinpoint dark spots on a few of the glass beads that look to be minor imperfections from production. A closeup photo is included. Please look closely at all photos and ask any questions you may have.
