Description: Vintage, art deco RCA Model 96T4 AM/SW radio, that is in good working condition. Radio is able to receive stations quite readily once the tubes warm up, with minimal background noise, however reception is best when an additional antenna wire is attached or you place your fingers on the existing wires. Both knobs turn smoothly and properly and the dial indicator functions properly as well. The knob on the left side is chipped (see photo). The push buttons push in properly, but do not move the dial indicator. The power cord is in very good condition, still plyable. The finish on the body appears to have been done over at some point and has simply been cleaned and polished with a professional wood wax. There is a minor veneer chip on the left rear edge, but it does not detract from the overall appearance of the radio. The grill cloth appears to be a period replacement and presents well and it has no rips or holes. Great looking radio to add to your collection.
